Exploitation Field of Bauxite „Vlasinje“
On the karst plateau of the wider area extending from the bauxite-bearing region of Bešpelj, the bauxite deposit Vlasinje is located. In the broader area, complex tectonic relationships prevail, which have brought the Vlasinje area into an inverted position. Near the deposit, there is a contact of a sliding surface with the terrain surface, which is an extremely important piece of information because the bauxite formations lie precisely on the deeper parts of the sliding surface.
